We will get you as close as possible to dolphins while still ensuring your safety and their safety. It's up the dolphins to decide how close and how often they interact with us. Passive observation is what we do. It simply means that we allow the dolphins to come to us. The dolphins of St. Andrews Bay are extremely playful and interactive. Guests often have incredible encounters that they will never forget.
The second leg will be spent spotting the best St Andrews Bay has for wildlife. These include pelicans, herons, ospreys, starfish, and underwater marine life like blue crabs (sea horses), hermit crabs, hermit crabs, and sea urchins. Shell Island is the perfect place to explore if you are interested in shells or sand dollars. Discover St. Andrews Bay, along the Gulf of Mexico by snorkeling.
If conditions permit, guests may go into the water with dolphins if possible. Safety is always our number one priority. Your captain can show you how safely to snorkel around marine mammals.
Rent a pontoonboat and become your own guide! Our pontoon boats can be rented for guests who want to charter their own boat. We will mail you our Map, which includes the location of our preferred snorkeling locations, sandbars as well as common dolphin areas.
Children will love snorkeling in the ocean with SCUBA divers and finding dolphins.

It was wonderful! Christian, our captain was an excellent choice. The group consisted of children ranging in age from 2 to 81. It was a great experience for all. We had fun on the boat ride, touched cannonball jellyfish and saw dolphins. Christo was very friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. Christo will be our captain. We will certainly return. Lagoon Pontoons staff were friendly and easy-going. They answered all our questions, and even offered suggestions to accommodate seniors and toddlers. 5 stars!! !

Our Carolina Skiffs, 21-foot and 23,-foot Carolina Skiffs, are stable and comfortable. These boats have a center console design to maximise open space and allow for easy movement about the boat. They also feature a fully cushioned forward platform for observation (and lounging), plus comfortable cushions for everyone in your group.
The boats are real dive boats, so children will enjoy seeing dolphins and snorkeling in the water like SCUBA divers.
It was a great time. Captain was amazing. The captain even showed us a jelly fish that doesn’t sting. We stopped at a shell island with lots of shells. We had a great time and we will be back.
Dolphins are most active at dawn, between 10 a.m. and noon, and from 2 p.m. to dusk. A good pair of telephoto lenses or binoculars can be extremely useful for spotting dolphins.
